Overview

Winmore Academy is a co-educational CBSE school and admissions are offered on a first-come, first-serve basis. The admission process is designed to enroll students demonstrating promise. Admission Process

The admission procedure for playschool and kindergarten begins when the application is received by the school. An appointment is then scheduled for an interaction with the child and parents to assess the child’s readiness for school. Following the submission of all documents and the completion of any relevant grade appraisal, applicants are evaluated for acceptance and subsequent grade level placements.

The school adopts a child-centred approach, which creates an atmosphere designed to encourage every child to achieve their maximum potential. The school day is filled with lessons and fun activities that contribute to a well-rounded learning experience.

School Day

The school day begins at 8:25 am, followed by the assembly at 8:30 am; the day is divided into three pairs of 40-minute classes. A break of 15 minutes takes place after lesson two. A 30-minute lunch break occurs after period 4, which is used by students to play, make use of the library or engage in some kind of musical activity. The school day ends at 3:00 pm.

Beyond the Classroom

Winmore Academy strongly believes in the power of art in enriching lives and is a melting pot of artistic options available for the students to choose from – music, drama, dance or visual art. The activities offered by Winmore enable students to develop a wide range of skills that enhance their learning both in and out of the classroom. Co-scholastic and co-curricular activities are designed to enhance students’ physical and mental abilities.
